Stand up paddling is dangerous!

Visit a SUP school or workshop and get professional training. Be careful and don't take unnecessary risks. You should only use this product if you are in good mental and physical condition and feel healthy. You must be able to swim safely. Use your iSUP only in the ocean, lakes, or rivers; never on land or in a pool. Use this product only in safe waters where SUP use is permitted. Check the weather and water conditions before every SUP tour.

Never go stand-up paddling if there are obstacles in the water. Never go out on the water during storms or thunderstorms. Obey the laws that apply to waterways. Check the condition before using the product. Always carry a life jacket or Restube when paddling.

Instructions for use

Using an iSUP carries certain risks to the body and health of the user or others. Please observe all warnings in this manual and read it carefully before using your iSUP for the first time.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Always stay in the shade outside of the water
  • Avoid exposing GTS iSUP to direct sunlight and high temperatures
  • after use in salt water you must clean the board with fresh water to remove the salt
  • Do not use chemicals or solvents for cleaning
  • Do not use any solid objects when cleaning that could damage your product
  • Only take a mobile phone on board in a suitable waterproof bag – avoid going on high-risk tours alone

Warranty conditions

GTSports GmbH (hereinafter "GTS") grants you, as the original purchaser, a Europe-wide warranty for material or workmanship defects on your iSUP for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Should material and/or workmanship defects occur on your iSUP within this period, GTS will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser personally and is not transferable to third parties. The warranty does not apply to rental and training companies or iSUP users who use the product for commercial purposes. To claim this warranty, you must register your iSUP within 14 days of purchase. Every iSUP has a serial number located on the side of the rear of the iSUP board. Register your GTS product with the corresponding serial number at: www.grandtoursport.com. You will receive confirmation of registration by mail or email upon request.

In addition to registration, proof of purchase (e.g., receipt) is required to assert a warranty claim. Please send us this proof in the event of a warranty claim. The receipt must be legible and must show the seller, their business address, and the date of purchase. The warranty is only valid if the iSUP was used exclusively in the water. GTS may request further evidence (e.g., photos) to investigate a warranty claim. Shipping costs from Germany will be refunded after inspection of the product if we grant a warranty. For shipments from abroad, you may incur additional shipping costs, which GTS will not cover in the event of a warranty claim. The warranty period does not restart in the event of a repair or replacement of the goods under the warranty.

The following are excluded from the guarantee:

Damage and defects caused by incorrect or improper operation or use

  • Normal signs of wear
  • Damage caused by solar radiation and salt water
  • Damage caused by over-inflating the iSUP
